The art of decathlon lies in mastering all disciplines equally well. Of course, every athlete has their individual strengths, but the main goal is to be balanced. At the moment, my strongest discipline is 110m hurdles.
Decathlon consists of ten athletics disciplines, which are held over two days. The athletes receive points depending on how far, fast or high they throw, sprint or jump, whereby each discipline has its own point table. The competition's ranking depends on the total score after the tenth discipline.
In an average week, I train seven to nine times. My training also includes strength training, physiotherapy and recovery. I prefer doing it with other athletes who motivate me to get better.
